Easy Almond Milk Recipe
3 cups of water
1 cup of almonds (raw and unsalted)
2 dates or equivalent amount of sweetener of your choice
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Put all the ingredients in a vitamix or blender. Allow to soak for at least one hour or overnight in the fridge.
Blend until smooth.
Place a piece of Cheese Cloth double thickness over a large mixing bowl.
Pour blended almond mixture over the cheesecloth and allow the liquid to strain through the cloth.
Close and twist the cheesecloth around the almonds and squeeze out all the remaining liquid that you can.
Enjoy your freshly made almond milk now or use in another recipe.
